Better Process, LLC: Growing from a Garage to a 3,200-Square-Foot Space

When Ken Rayment started Better Process, LLC, it began where many businesses do—with an idea and a garage. But when Ken hired his first employee, he knew it was time to find a more appropriate place to grow. That’s when he discovered the Warehouse Business Accelerator and the important role it would play in Better Process’s journey.

In 2021, Better Process moved into a 360-square-foot perimeter room at the Warehouse Innovation Hub with one employee. Over the past five years, the company has continued to grow, moving into progressively larger spaces within the Hub as its needs evolved. Today, Better Process has twelve employees and has reached an exciting new milestone: the company is moving into a brand-new 3,200-square-foot space on Forge Campus.

This is exactly why the Warehouse Business Accelerator exists.

Beyond providing flexible industrial space and month-to-month lease options, the Hub has been a place where Better Process could grow alongside a community of entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and innovators. Ken and the Better Process team have been highly engaged throughout their time here, participating in educational sessions, mentor and advisory sessions, the Make It Accelerator, and both Warehouse and Forge Campus events.

They have also made use of the Hub’s shared facilities, including the shared machine shop, as their business has grown and evolved. Throughout their journey, they have embraced the opportunities available through the Warehouse and Forge Campus ecosystem to learn, connect, collaborate, access resources, and strengthen their business.

We’re proud to have been part of Better Process’s journey—from a garage-based startup to a growing company with a team of twelve. While we’ll miss having them located in the Hub, seeing a company successfully graduate into a larger space on Forge Campus is one of the best measures of success we could ask for.
